Gran's Ghost - 10/03/23-14/03/23
In March 2023, I had the honour of being Wigs, Hair, and Makeup Designer and Supervisor of the grad film Gran's Ghost (a fictional, comedy short film). This was a five day shoot which included months of preparation, meetings and creating. I had two amazing assistants Sophie Bray and Alex Walker who helped bring all my visions to life. It was a brilliant experience full of fun, laughter, problem solving and friendship. I can't wait to be able to share the final edit with you all!
Bobbi's Bournemouth Live Event - 18/02/23
I got the opportunity to do a live demonstration at the department store, Bobbi's, in Bournemouth. I used one of the wigs that I had previously styled for the Belle's Stratagem and paired it with an editorial makeup look. The public came up and asked lots of questions which were fun to answer and we also walked around the Bournemouth gardens to draw attention from the public, helping to promote the course at AUB.The day was full of talking, laughter and sunshine.
Belle's Stratagem - 08/12/22-10/12/22
In December 2022, I had the most fun designing and supervising the wigs, hair and makeup for the AUB Production of Belle's Stratagem. I was joined by 10 lovely assistants and after preparing for the shows since the previous September, we were ready, confident and excited for the four shows which finished my first term in my final year of university. I loved every movement, from all the quick changes back stage to the busy dressing rooms getting everyone ready beforehand. This experience helped solidify my dreams of being backstage of West End theatres.
